DoseMe, a cloud software powering the shift to precision dosing, announced that it has been selected to present at the 2018 BIO International Convention as part of Trade Investment Queensland’s Showcase. As the world’s largest gathering of global biotech and pharma businesses, researchers and government representatives, more than 16,000 delegates are expected to participate. The conference, scheduled for June 4-7, will be held in Boston, Massachusetts.
DoseMe’s North American Vice President of Business Development, Andre Pontin, will deliver the presentation.
“We’re thrilled to be invited to participate and present at this year’s BIO International Convention. Today, our focus is ensuring DoseMeRx is accessible and integrated into standard clinical practice across acute care hospitals and out-patient infusion settings throughout the United States.
“With advancements in drug development including bioequivalents, monoclonal antibodies and newer speciality drugs – we at DoseMe have a major role in shaping precision dosing to help clinical practice move towards a more patient-centered healthcare system, which aligns with new value-based payment models that expect providers to deliver health care that improves patient outcomes and lowers the total costs of care,” he said.
DoseMe reshapes the way medicine is dosed with the world’s first real-time precision dosing software platform – DoseMeRx – to predict the optimal dose of therapeutic drugs at the point of care. This unique software solution determines precise, patient-specific doses for a range of therapeutic areas including infectious diseases, transplant, coagulation management, oncology and pediatrics.
As a cloud-based solution, setup is simple, and users can be live within minutes. Integrated into electronic health record (EHR) systems including Cerner and Epic using SMART and FHIR technologies, DoseMeRx delivers simple and easy-to-use precision dosing software never previously available in the EHR.
