SIDP releases vancomycin AUC dosing toolkit

The Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) released an AUC-guided dosing toolkit, informed by the experiences of pharmacists who have implemented vancomycin AUC-guided dosing at their institution. The vancomycin AUC toolkit is available to download for free from the SIDP website.
This toolkit lays out a template guideline for dosing based on the patient’s total AUC and can be used to customize your local facility’s dosing.
Examples and templates of educational materials for training providers and nursing teams are also included in the SIDP Vancomycin Toolkit 2021.
